SVPPORT.

I don't know, "awesome" might be overstating it.  But on the other hand, I really don't need to hear how the person who obsesses over "Toddlers & Tiaras" doesn't want to see a giant monster/robot movie.  That opinion is both obvious and meaningless.

For those about to rock - do it here!

It very often just seems like people planting their flag somewhere.  "Hey, you guys know this popular thing, right?  How lame was that?  How lame are people that like that shit??  Well, not me, buddy!  I'm a COOL guy!"

1. Soundgarden is better than Nirvana.  BETTER, I say.  "Jesus Christ Pose" by itself is better than all Nirvana, ever.  Nirvana burned brightly but Cobain was too self-aware and afraid to just be good at what he was good at, and it crippled his own discography.

Well that looks mediocre as a big steamin' plate of mediocrity.

Oh my.

I try not to remember things.  They make me sad.

You idiots, he's the best one!

I still think he's better at it than most - while the whole internet has adopted his style, he's a little smarter and funnier than most.  He's still basically a really interesting party conversation rather than an Insightful Writer, but when I can pick up one of his books for $10 or less, I usually do.  They're fun.

In retrospect they spent too much time on the "Dexter lets somebody get close to him" interlopers, and not enough on the "Dexter is stalked by a worthy adversary" interlopers.  Doakes + Lundy are so much better than all the others, except maybe Trinity - and even that wasn't particularly well-written, but Lithgow sold

Get out of here, traitor.

@avclub-75e43c12ef9f1cfdaeae92ca6fa90640:disqus  I'm aware of that, of course, but still.  By the time you get to the likes of "Master of Puppets," almost all traces of the blues have been eradicated from the music, and something else has emerged with all kinds of other influences (many of them from classical music,

I promise to spend it all in one place.  Probably Chipotle.

I reverse my stance.  Laziness is a plus - when this thing bloats to 8 pages of comments, being always on the last page is great.  Much easier to find.

@TheSensitiveGhostOfSethPu:disqus  I will abuse it until you cry for mercy!

Powerviolence is cool.  I'm kind of new to it but have been a fan of crust and grind for years, which are very related.  We're releasing an EP (with, again, 10 songs or something!) by a black metal/powerviolence band called Angelcrust later this summer.

You're the wind beneath my diseased wings of hatred and contempt, or something.  The label is called Unspeakable Axe (https://www.facebook.com/Un… ).  We've only released two things so far but a lot more is in the works.

I'll be that guy.  Pantera and Metallica tag-teamed to ruin thrash metal for a good decade.  The funny part is that I like (not love) the black album and "Cowboys," but the influence of both was unfortunate as fuck.  Likewise but to a much lesser extent with Entombed's "Wolverine Blues," a legitimately great record
