I have yet to see anywhere an actual transcription of the jokes Tosh was telling that pissed his heckler off, or even exactly what he said to the heckler afterward, so I'm withholding judgment.

It's a comedy, you nimrod.  The obnoxiousness is funny.  The unlikeability is funny.  Who watches a comedy to admire and empathize with the protagonists?  What a weird thing to want from entertainment the primary goal of which is to make you laugh.
