I always thought it was funny that they cast a new actor for Old Jake but kept the old Nog with Star Trek Aged Makeup(TM)  I suppose Ferengi aren't generally tall people, but it was odd how short he was in that scene.

First of all, I want to preface this by saying that this is a great episode from an emotional standpoint.  For most of it, I love it, even if Trek old people makeup hasn't progressed since 'The Man Trap.'  But the ending ruined it for me once I rewatched it and started thinking about it too much.

I long ago gave up on trying to figure out the nonsense that is Fringe's idea of geography, whether it be how places look or the relative distances between them.  You just have to roll with it or it will drive you bonkers.
