He'd escaped Veil up until then so at a guess he decided that he needed to reset because it wouldn't keep pressing him for new confessions. Possibly a new Veil was created at the point the Doctor steps out of the teleporter.

or the Doctor becomes Gallifrey's MoW.

Ashildr was the girl the Doctor originally knew. I think calling her the name she's chosen for herself is acknowledging that girl has been dead for centuries.

Or had been a woman, if you see the metaphor.

The most out there thing I can think of is Zayday is actually Chanel #4 post-tanning incident, but I doubt the show would go that far.

Pete also admits that he's got a prior relationship with the coroner, which would have given him earlier access to Boone after the fake death. Much of what he's saying also implicates himself.

As we've seen with his strict adherence to the rules of both truth and dare and Pictionary, Chad is a rather literal guy.

No, they'd still work either as misdirection to other characters or a reflection of the obvious friction in the Red Devil camp.

It wouldn't be step but half-siblings. Much better, right?

Pete was damned creepy and I'm sure that pink blanket was a red herring.

Only 5? We have Grace, Wes, Zayday, Chanel, Chanel #3, Chanel #5, Hester, Dean Munsch, Pete and Chad. So we are going to see the main cast halved (possibly literally) in two episodes.

Tonight played out like a demented game of clue and was pretty great.
Julia Duffy gets MVP and the whole pictionary scene was gold including Hester's deer-in-a-headlight side-eyes the entire time. But Billy Lourdes was a close second for me.

It's not. Kilgrave's power is the virus makes you completely suggestable to his commands. It would work if you could read his lips or even sign language. The headphones angle should have been explored earlier though.

It was interesting knowing this show was out of order. If you didn't you'd think Cat was a real bitch after dismissing Kara's halting mention of her mom after last week's reveal.
In order they display a nice progression for the character.

Yeah that really sucked the life out of the character for me and makes the show look like it's just a Superman show in a dress.
I notice Lord said he couldn't make anybody do this, which I took as both a reference to the comic character and a statement that he'd merely bribed the bomber.

Yeah, the first half of this show had some on the edge of being difficult to watch moments. It was like The Office meets season 3 Nurse Jackie. But it was effective and when everything came together at the end it was feel-good but didn't come across as contrived. That's hard to do.

Interesting point on IHG. Looking at the logic I think they may be connected; I think that Kilgrave was trying to find his parents/ fellow experiments and crossed pasths with Reva, who was investigating Luke's past (given the comics history likely to prove him innocent). Him keeping her as a slave may just have been

Jessica fighting through a building full of mind-controlled people felt like something that could have happened earlier in the series (but that's probably because I'm a fan of The Raid) and made the dock fight look a bit thin.
Also though the cops looking to blame Jessica after the trail of mayhem Kilgrave caused a bit

Mutual benefit and personal hubris. She was aware of what happened to Jessica and believed it happened but thought that Jennifer had shown weakness in being a 'victim' and was therefore exaggerating the threat and also that she was obviously strong enough that it wouldn't happen to her.

He wanted her dead. He was only twisting things in retrospect to make Jessica the bad guy.
