Pavement is a good testament to what the drugs will do to you: Malk and co. thought that they were writing radio hits.

Now I am all nostalgic for the awesomeness of the Pave-list.
I _loved_ them in college. I did grow out of the love, but I still really like them. Maybe because I was never head over heels in love with anything after Transatlanticism? I think that's the point where the lyrics started getting a bit goofy.
Do people rag on them more than they rag on other bands? It seems like everyone is torn apart on the AV Club these days. I've even seen quite a few harsh words directed at Spoon around these parts. Spoon! Who the hell hates Spoon?
I haven't really been paying attention to what the hipster masses have been saying about Death Cab these days. Are they all shitting on Codes and Keys or something?
I agree! It's a go-to record if I am driving.
I got into them right after they came out with Something about Airplanes, so I would fall into that first category as well. My favorite release by them is probably the Forbidden Love EP, which gets no love these days.
Don't discount the health benefits of gravedigging. That's some serious cardio.
Well, Phil hated the show, so his reviews didn't fit. The readers/commenters for SPN reviews are not generally of the hatewatch variety, so I think that it was a perfectly reasonable thing to get us a new reviewer.
No way is this over. Remember Crowley saying that the longer he goes without violence, the more demon-y he becomes?
Naw. I got my mom hooked on this show this past summer. Now, she watches the TNT reruns whenever possible. :)
Oh, I miss talking Supernatural with y'all on the weekly!
That's pretty close to where I work, so I'll try to make it. :-)
I'm sorry, but the most sexual thing that we can allow in commercials about sexual dysfunction is a restrained and fully clothed twirl on the dance floor.
Do the Spidalis commercials feature two older, yet vibrant people lounging in spiderweb hammocks? Or is that too graphic?
I think that they forgot to CGI-in his spider-web projectiles.
Me too! My mom and I would watch it, and she would tell me all about the 80s.
I was really hoping that they would be updating that awesome theme song.
I'm not a fan of Mike either. But that's mostly because I know about some of his political/social stances.
I don't think that's the case. They often cut the movies down because they were too long.
