Oh damn son, it's awesome. It took place between Civil War and Secret Invasion and set up the awesome status quo that was Dark Reign. Ellis wrote the best Norman Osborn of all time!

That's even worse. I'd love to know the particulars of where Casey planned to take it. His Wildcats is one of my favorite runs of all time, and I've always wanted action figures of Grifter (with masked and unmasked heads) and shiny-suit Jack Marlowe.
Warren Ellis' Thunderbolts run was AMAZING.
I didn't like the ending of Fatale at all, even though it may have been the only possible ending. But I felt that none of the subsequent stories lived up to the potential of Volume 1. Maybe it was that late '40s setting, so perfect for horror-noir pastiches, but grunge-era Seattle never felt like it fit as well.
It ended abruptly with #24, with a damn-near-literal deus ex machina ending and no resolution. I think sales were very low, as they were with most of the quality Wildstorm books in the early 2000s. I just wish Casey had more of a chance to wrap up his big Coda War storyline and give the characters a proper sendoff.
Sleeper is my favorite of all the Brubaker/Phillips collaborations (Criminal, Incognito, Fatale, and I haven't read The Fade-Out yet). Make sure you read Point Blank before Sleeper, and you are in for such a treat. They also collaborated on Scene of the Crime (Phillips inked regular Brubaker collaborator Michael…
Agreed. It would be great to see Marvel hire an Asian-American actor for Danny Rand. He's an awesome character, but it's a problematic holdover of the '70s that the all-time greatest martial artist had to be a rich white blond guy. Even a biracial actor would be fine, for some added diversity and a way to show that…
Ledger based his Joker on Tom Waits, particularly an old TV interview from 1979: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I got to see them play on my college campus, back in 1997, when they only had two albums out. Amazing live band.
My favorite Rachel Feinstein schtick is this hilarious old-timey voice she does, like an overwrought 1940s actress. For me, it never gets old, and I'd love to hear her and John Mulaney have a conversation in their old-timey voices.
Pally and Gemberling are bros in real life, and you can watch them hang out in Vegas together like a couple of Galifianakises in Pally's episode of The Getaway, on the Esquire Network.
Olyphant has been my choice for years. Deadshot is one of my favorite characters, along with Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Booster Gold, and Starman (Jack Knight), and Olyphant would be perfect for an ice-cold, super-competent, somewhat-sarcastic professional who has seen and done it all and just doesn't care that much…
I'm hoping we get Ted Kord appearing on Flash. Geoff Johns has already more than hinted that Booster Gold will show up, and we've seen that Dr. Wells is a time-traveler (perhaps Booster's mentor and son, Rip Hunter: Time Master). Booster could appear as a 25th Century fugitive, and Barry could introduce him to his…
Wow, BOB. Wow.
"Rock Lobster" was playing when I proposed to my wife at a Halloween party. A year later, our wedding party entered the reception hall to it.
Aisha Tyler is a great choice, especially if she plays the nerd, and Ellie Kemper would be a good rookie. I could do without Melissa McCarthy, but we're the only ones. And I only know Eliza Coupe from Happy Endings, where her character annoyed me (although I admit she did her best with the material she was given).
What character names? They obviously aren't going to be named Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston. I was just going with archetypes.
Rashida Jones as the leader/straight woman, Jessi Klein as the nerd, Natalie Morales as the tough girl, and Lauren Lapkus as the wide-eyed new member. Make it happen.
It always struck me as a wasted opportunity that Audrey was another one of the high school students, making her too young for Coop to hook up with her. Audrey never had anything to do with Laura, Donna, Bobby, and that crowd, and it would have made more sense to have her as a slightly older college girl who went away…
If not Dr. Strange, then maybe Tony Stark for the inevitable Iron Man 4/reboot.
