When I saw Jenny Lewis last year, there was this really loud dude who was proclaiming in the middle of one of her songs that "The last time I saw Jenny play, she looked me right in the eye during this song and I made a funny face and she laughed!"

I've been to many shows where I'd only heard of the band the day before (or the day of). I actually did start listening to SK because of how much I loved Brownstein on Portlandia. And you know what? I'm not a fan. Still, when they came to town, I wanted to go (it sold out instantly), and at least part of it was that I

Yep, one of my favorites.

True dat. I kind of do like the segment with Ernie Hudson, and it does have one of the funniest horror movie deaths I've ever seen (guy faceplants on 40 bottle, bottle goes through back of skull).

Someone else mentioned it, but all you have to do is push the directional pad in the direction you want to go the moment you make the turn. It gives you a little speed boost. IIRC, it was much like the game Uniracers, which I think was SNES and came a bit later.

I watched it an October or two ago. It holds up. Of course, it was never great, but it's good and fun.

Well, I can't satisfy the "great" part with this one, and no way is it even good, but Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror is kind of an amusing (in a bad way) anthology horror in the same vein as Tales from the Hood.

It makes me so glad to hear Cinemax still plays it. I think I saw it on HBO, but it played frequently on both of those channels.

I don't remember the orb being that hard. I never found that level hard compared to Rat Race or the snakes or the speeder bikes.

It was still very hard and took forever. You could only shoot him once or twice before he dissolved.

I think I had seen the movie, but I was far more familiar with the game, and I also thought there was a sequel movie that I had somehow missed.

A little mincing would be nice.

You know what would really help? If he overdosed.

I never heard of that.

They are similar, but the difference is Goonies 2 was playable.

LJN also did that one and I remember it being good, too.

Really, it isn't that hard! There are warp zones. You can skip the hardest levels!

I had this game for years but was never able to beat it.

The WWF games were fun. WWF King of the Ring was a go-to rental for my brothers and I if there was nothing new that interested us.

Oh yes! One of the games we played was trying to race each other to the top.
