Yeah, I beat exactly one level in Mega Man 9. I wondered if I could have done it as a kid.

I remember that one. I don't remember if it could be beaten or if we beat it. We had it because I think it was only $20.

My brothers and I could get through that one together. It was fucking difficult, though.

The rock monster which you can only shoot once before he dissolves and sends rocks flying across the screen was totally NOT fair. Never could get past that without an emulator or Game Genie.

I could beat all of them except the Rat Race. Never figured out how to beat that. But you could skip it through a warp zone.

You have no chance against the Diesel.

To be fair, Audition was listed as being released in 2000 up until like 2005 or so on IMDb.

Internet archaeologists fifteen years from now will dig up my comment and note that I called that It Follows and The Babadook will not have retained their reputation. Neither are all that good.

Gee, maybe someone got hurt.

I was watching the original King Kong yesterday, and I can't not think of that constantly when that character is on screen.

Among many other things, I did see The Last Witch Hunter - it sucked. The highlight of my weekend, though, was seeing Run the Jewels on Friday night. It was awesome.

I hated that moment, too, but most of it was chilling. There were far too many kids who just kind of stood there to meet their death, where they probably should have been running and hiding. Like I said, far from perfect, but I found it really unsettling for the most part.

I didn't think Lesson of the Evil was great, but it was a rare movie that really shocked me.

I'm excited for it, but it's definitely more crime than horror. Don't worry, I also bought Miike's Lesson of the Evil along with it. Now that's a violent film!

Well the songs are spread over three different singers, although I think one of them probably does get more songs than the others. I've never listened to any of their other records, so I don't know if it's always that way.

I want a Young Sandwich verse.

And, ftr, I am absolutely in love with all of Newsom's output and would definitely admit to being cultish about it, but I'm also one who can easily criticize something that comes from an artist I love. I am also a big Amanda Palmer fan, but certainly wouldn't say I love everything she's put out (I think I listened to

Well, as a detester of physical activity, I would suggest The Last Witch Hunter instead, but to each their own!

Have One on Me sold that much less? That surprises me. It must have been the length. I would think Ys would be the least popular just because of the length of the songs, which makes it hard to play on the radio.

I don't know if I agree with that. I think I might agree that one of the discs (can't remember offhand if it's the second or third) is less memorable than the other two, but only slightly less.
