I'm several years younger than that and I definitely played plenty of the classic arcade games and remember having an Atari well. Nintendo came out when I was about 6 and I had it around the time I was 7.

Tomm Moore is pretty close to Miyazaki in quality, I think. Two films out of the gate, both masterpieces. And they're kind of Ghibli-esque, too, particularly Song of the Sea.

I wouldn't rank him that high. He's made several good films and anything he makes should be highly anticipated, but I think he's yet to make his masterpiece. We'll see if Carol's it, but I have my doubts.
