Eh, it's not like he's got anything else going on. The Cleveland Show got cancelled.

The funniest thing is that the dialogue is perfectly intelligible. I have no idea why they thought they had to dub it. Sure, there's a bit of slang, but it might not even be particularly Aussie - it could just be stylized, post-apocalyptic type stuff.

He should have at least been masturbating. That shot made me laugh out loud. I'm like, "Why isn't it following?"

It was actually a reference to Frisky Dingo, but I'll take this one.

I think I was more scared at It Follows than The Babadook - maybe not scared, exactly, but there was a lot of tension there. But, yeah, the trick they pull with that perfectly cast kid is brilliant.

I actually saw Southland Tales in the theater, in Minneapolis. I got the feeling that, after ST, he was kind of expected to play ball by his producers for The Box. It was a tad more conventional, but still too far out there.

This movie kicks so much ass, I think I went blind.

I thought the premise was okay, but they frankly ignored a lot of the rules they set up when it was convenient to them (what's with that hilarious bit with the thing standing naked on the roof?), the characters become inexplicably dumb at the climax, they end up learning something interesting about the monster (that

I think I bought it on sale from Amazon or maybe Deep Discount.

I dunno. The film was obviously supposed to be a lot longer, and I remember some preview scenes debuting on Youtube or whatever that were actually really funny but didn't appear in the final cut. I always expected a director's cut, but I guess the film was just too much of a disaster for anyone to pay for that. What I

I actually have it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm not an enormous Mann fan, but I generally like his films.

Harry, did you polish your head in the Ball-O-Shine-O?

I never realized until I owned Looney Tunes on DVD that Mel Blanc's voice was pitch altered for Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.

Are Azaria and Yeardly getting some cash from that Pixar ripoff?

I would have upvoted you but it is, in actuality, a pretty good episode.

Blood Wedding is really good. IIRC, I think it's the best of the Flamenco Trilogy.

Also Southland Tales.

You stink, you two-faced bastard!

I wasn't too big on The Badabook, either, but I did like it better than It Follows. Still haven't seen A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. Need to get around to that one.

Man, I haven't seen much from this year, just the American films (and not even Mann's Thief). I guess I'd have to go with Excalibur. Montenegro is pretty good.
