He got really into birds…

Happy birthday, Spray, I'm disappointed in you!

I didn't like Nanobots much at all, but loved The Else and Join Us (which were my return to the band after not listening to anything they'd released since Factory Showroom).

The way I see it, the show made Tandy look like a giant dick only to turn it around and make the ladies look like shallow jerks now that the other Phil Miller is in town.

She tours so frequently, just keep your eyes out.

It's a terrible scene, is what we all seem to be arguing. Louie's writing on it is poor.

You have no point, you moron. There was a guy who wants to buy stuff, why wouldn't you just let him? There's no argument on the opposite side of this that makes any sense.

I literally gave up on that film about halfway through and everyone insists that if I had stuck with it for ten more minutes I would have loved it. Someday…

Oh, man, I really love Beautiful Losers and it was kind of a major influence on my tastes when I first read it as a teenager. I think it's the only novel I've ever read more than twice, but it's been probably two decades now. His other novel, which I think is called The Favourite Game, is also pretty good.

Just starting with TMBG? Wow, cool! I remember the first time I ever heard their music, when they popped up on Tiny Toon Adventures. It was instant love.

I saw a bunch of Lovecraft adaptations and Lovecraft inspired movies a few years back. There are some very good ones, actually. The Resurrected, in particular, is a fantastic adaptation of The Case of Charles Dexter Ward. The Haunted Castle is also a very good adaptation of the same story.

Oh my God you were born after 1990.

Saw Neko Case tonight, my sixth time seeing her. Always amazing. Kind of wish she had covered a wider array of her music, though she did hit on all five of her records (not including the Neko Case and Her Boyfriends records, although the last time I saw her she did play a song from her sophomore album), while mostly

He has his daughters half the week and we've seen him cook for them many times.

I do think he goes to the "women be crazy" well a little too often. I don't think the clerk's gender was that big of a deal, although she basically did accuse him of being racist and sexist.

Yeah, definitely, if I were actually being smart about it (though I'd probably be so pissed about it I'd chew her out far worse than Louie did), I'd have her ring everything up and then pretend to decide I actually didn't want anything.

It always plays out that when you don't want anyone bothering you, the workers are all over your ass, but when you actually want to talk to someone about something, they're nowhere to be found.

We have seen him cooking many, many times in the series, including two weeks ago.

Right, how the fuck did she know he wasn't, you know, a professional chef?

Yep, this seems like it's going to have all the subtlety of the usual David Ayer movie.
