This might be my least favorite episode up to this point, this or Homerpalooza. This one, though, it's just dull. There are a handful of decent gags, but, in general, I'd take the vast majority of seasons 10-20 (at least up to the HD era) over this one.

I saw Jupiter Ascending yesterday. It kind of sucked, but it looked so great I didn't really mind watching it.

"I'm going to buy a gun with my money, because I'll be the man of the family!"

What do you mean, she wasn't even part of the finale!

He didn't direct no motherfucking Blair Witch Project!

Criterion lost the rights to that film.

I think this was the first foreign film I ever rented. It took me a long time to warm up to Fellini afterward.

He ought always to be known as "Gosford Park megahunk Bob Balaban."

Yeah, I think I asked you if you were a guy or a girl.

The finale was just so perfect, I really don't have anything to say about it. This was indeed one of my favorite shows of all time. And these reviews have been great. I love coming here and reading through the comments, making my own. Its being easily available on streaming sites, so many people are catching up with

I'm completely with the Craig hate - before Season 7. They really did a good job salvaging that character, so I was totally up for his and Typhoon's wedding.

The greatest thing about that segment is that Frank Welker uses the exact same voice for the goblin that he later did for Nibbler on Futurama, so basically Nibbler is terrorizing a young Drew Barrymore.

It was well known going into the show that the BP win was down to Birdman and Boyhood. Or maybe not. I wouldn't have been surprised if GBH was really in the running, seeing as it wasn't really predicted for a few of the awards it did win (I think Production Design was its only sure bet).

Hmm, I just checked the Fox News article about the awards, and they don't editorialize or anything. Must be too early in the morning.

I was toying with going to the shorts programs on Saturday, but I didn't. I have to imagine one of the film is better than Feast, though. I cannot stand when people feed their dog human food, so the whole thing mostly pissed me off, though the animation was nice.

No he didn't. He wasn't awful, but they definitely castrated him.

Yes, I was legitimately confused. I thought maybe Common's twin brother had written the song and Common had just rapped it.

I think Selma stood out because it just felt far better written than Imitation Game and Theory of Everything. Plus, I don't know about you but I still have the awful taste of The Butler in my mouth and it was difficult not to imagine Selma turning out similarly.

Given that it won four Oscars, you would certainly not have been one of the only people voting for GBH.
