"Aren't you supposed to be a sheep?" "No, you are."
Pawnee Zoo would definitely be in my top 10. It was probably the first great episode of the series.
Except for, as was mentioned above, NBC spoiled it after the Ron & Tammy 2 episode.
I just watched the first season of Broad City in the past couple of weeks, and I caught up with Review over Christmas. I mean, wow, those are two of the greatest comedy shows I've ever seen. These are the best shows CC has had since Strangers with Candy and The Upright Citizens Brigade.
The actors on this show, are, without a doubt, some of the best drunk actors in history.
It's a top 10 episodes that define the series, and as that it's totally a pretty good list.
To be fair, that nomination does fall in the two decades in which Rooney's box office domination spans.
I also prefer Cotillard in The Immigrant to Two Days, One Night.
Is The Immigrant the Phoenix performance for which you are advocating? I'd agree with that. I thought he was fine in Inherent Vice, but it wasn't one of his stand-out performances.
That's all I'm saying, and am certainly not trying to imply he isn't a good actor. But frankly, his MLK is his first recognizable role. Maybe next time I watch Lincoln, I'll say, "Oh, there's David Oyelowo!"
That's not what I mean. I just mean he's not a name people know. Maybe casting directors, he's certainly done a lot of character work. It's not a value judgement, just a statement of fact.
I swear I replied to this earlier, but, yes, this guy is an unknown. This role will shoot him to stardom, if his comments haven't put Hollywood off him yet. Almost all his previous roles are small character bits. Up to this very year he's been playing unnamed characters.
I personally think it is a very good movie. In fact, a surprisingly good movie, because it could very easily have been the exact same thing as The Imitation Game, or last year's The Butler (God forbid). I think it's an especially good film for like high school students, or even younger, because it's not boring, one…
Lucky bastard!
This was most definitely his first starring role. I've seen him in a lot of stuff but could never have told you his name before this. So, yes, an unknown.
Unfortunately, I do. I mean, I worry that maybe the asshole role is closer to what he is in real life, but I hope not!
What I'm saying about Scott, though, is that he's not playing Ben. Ben is a super nice, smart, dorky guy. When Scott is in a movie, he always seems to play a gigantic asshole.
I've already addressed this above (that editorial note was not in the article I initially read).
I remember when Blue Is the Warmest Color won the Palm d'or and people on Yahoo News were like, "There's Hollywood again, promoting the homosexual agenda!"
Obviously I mean him as a character actor or star. I can't believe I had no idea he was in that Star Trek movie until yesterday.
