Mamet is terrific. As is Jemima Kirke, I love her character's "Who gives a FUCK" ballsiness

Oh……………… hi, Elaine………………….

I liked it.

see for me, I suffer through the baseball ephemera for the classic films, old literature and left wing ramblings. I think if you're interested in at least 3 of those 4 things that's enough to keep you tuning in.

not to knock Hughes era Molly Ringwald, but Buffy was a massive upgrade. I'd say Duckie came out on top amongst those characters

She's really nothing like Diana. That wig's not fooling anyone, Watts.

Hoover: That was the sand movie.

I saw it parodied on The Simpsons first when I was a kid - seeing what inspired the parody was both hilarious and really really unsettling

A Boy Named Charlie Brown still holds up. It's influenced by 60s psychedelia so there's a lot of really beautiful, unusual animation and ambient musical set pieces - there's a gorgeous sequence of Schroeder playing Beethoven's Pathetique on his piano that's really lovely

that special is what introduced Little Lux to thejoy of The Eurhythmics, Michael jackson and Creedence Clearwater Revivial

Come and GET EM

everything's already been said, so my FIRST real scare was Large marge in Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I laugh at it now but that took a while to get over

Winnie the Pooh was 2d and looked traditional and was lovely - if anything else should be in 2d it's Peanuts

the backwards screaming in the Black Lodge in the series finale…. sweet Maria

awesome

Nnnnnynnnng boring anecdote in progress

Most consistently hilarious podcast on my rotation. I wish I was in the States so I could call in

HAVE FUN BEING MARRIED TO SATAN.

I love What Am I Thinking, it makes for a pretty good road trip game with the right group of people.

My misogyny radar's pretty sensitive, and I always saw that skit as being a critique on some guys' unfounded panic of being accused of rape rather than a critique on "sneaky bitches", the joke is on Chappelle's character in that skit, not on Rashida Jones imho
