I will go to my grave defending I, Robot. No, it's not the same as the book (stories, really). Yes, it does basically just lift a few of Asimov's ideas and use them as background.

And Kim Dickens as Moriarty!
O'Neal, great job on this one, the snark is one for the clip show.
If only they had titled the show "Memphis Beat & Smokin' Joe", or some other nonsensical ampersand-ified title.
put out.
Joe Casey did that. It was… not good.
You're in luck - there's a support group for that condition! It's called "the Internet".
I too had no idea this show was even still a thing. Newswire posts are the only thing that keep this show in my memory.
Just to throw in an unneeded hosanna for Bloom County - that strip was the first one I remember reading daily as a kid, and it was kind of my introduction to "grown up" things like politics, economics, and alcohol. Steve Dallas was awesome, Milo was my hero, and Bill the Cat… was Bill the Cat. Loved, loved it.
I always viewed the latter years of BC as more bleak hopelessness than anger - it just seemed like Breathed finally let the cynicism get the better of him, and removed the sweet doses of youthful optimism that kept the characters fun through most of the run.
The fuck? This is a real thing?
I remember reading somewhere that Bryan Hitch pretty explicitly based Ultimate Thor off Brad Pitt.
I'm in Mike's camp on this one; I saw the first season in its entirety, and didn't end up interested enough to care about the following seasons. I have heard nothing but good things about it though, so good on Cranston.
Great Actor, Nice Props To McShane
And incidentally, on the off change that Hollywood is taking special orders, can I please get a McDowell/McShane/Caine crime or comedy picture like, right fucking now please?
Frankly, the last two years were something of a return to form for the mothership. Jeremy Sisto and Linus Roache and Anthony Anderson were committed, good actors, and believable in their roles. The stories weren't too loony, either. I was sad to see it go after such a marked improvement.
I get it that this wasn't a sandbox game (nor did I want it to be); my issue is with ditching the main character entirely for the climax of the plot, and having him be basically a bystander (i.e., non-playable) for the end.
Don't give Ebert too much credit
In all fairness, "enraging the Internet" is about as difficult as obtaining the title "bystander".
SLH Made Real
This guy even already has his own lead-lined gloves, so he won't be needing to bogart from Mademoiselle Pepperoni.
Quite right, Demons. Tulips. Thanks for the correction.
Here We Go
Finally Fringe gets to face the question head-on: what about time travel? At this point it's the only possible explanation for the meta-plot.
