Biggest Strength Overlooked
I've gotta say, the best thing about this MK is the sheer amount of content for the casual/single-player. I don't particularly care about going online and getting pwned by strangers, because A) I suck at fighting games and B) I don't have nearly enough time gaming to get skillful enough to

Alternatively, it could be a case of double-pregnancies! Maybe River's carrying Lil' Who!

Solid B+
Fun, exciting —- but almost no room to breathe, which I guess is what was intended, but about halfway through I was exhausted with the plot and the new characters and the names and the map and the… I forget.

Next on the History Channel: Shovin' Buddies!

This. I'd rather watch a 2-day marathon of "Secrets of Hitler's Shaving Mirror" than 20 seconds of this.

I always thought it was: Procure that female a 17th-century English metaphysical poet!

Dear God, America. We used to go to the moon.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Mainly for the glorious, unexpected cover songs they always include in their set. They are such a different animal live.

Beau Bridges Made Max Payne Watchable…
…just because it's incredibly obvious he's completely drunk in all of his scenes.

JJR is my favorite as well, Church always makes me smile.

Holy Fuck, No
There is no way they will get anyone a tenth as awesome as Peter Firth's Harry Pearce. He alone makes MI-5 terrific. Well, that and the fact that the show is nine vans of ninjas worth of awesome.

If you're going to crowdsource…
…then at least crowdsource the movie about a Nazi invasion from the Moon!

Avalon Sunset
Is terrific. "I'm Tired, Joey Boy" FTW.

Danny from MI-5
His death in season 4 really affected me, mainly because it was clearly the end of the "original" crew and because of the self-sacrifice.

John Carpenter's Carpenter

Enough Already!
Copied from my comment over at i09: I confess, I'm getting a bit tired of the "random historical/literary/pop culture figure vs. monster/sci-fi/comic trope" formula.

Ferrer Is The Balls
Way too many projects to choose from to ask him about, though —- personally I liked some trashy 90s movie he did where he was the victim of the ice-bath-kidney-thief of urban legend.

That's the first thing I thought as well —- Finney still brings the awesome after all these years, and The Gathering Storm was fascinating on about a hundred different levels. I even liked the Brendan Gleeson sequel.

Whoa whoa whoa there, Tex.

Hu$tle was sixteen ninjas worth of awesome, though it took a marked turn downhill when Adrian Lester left and they brought in the pop star. I loved the show through and through, and was sad when they called it quits after season 5.
