For real though, CONTROL SYSTEM is the best hip-hop album of 2012, with 1999 at 2, SKELETHON at 3 and Kendrick's at 4.

So is the episode of GO ON that was supposed to be on tonight now going to be on tomorrow night because THE VOICE was on tonight and then NBC put on the news with more Sandy coverage. I assume this was a national thing, but I could be wrong since I live in New Jersey.

As did I apparently, this is pretty sad news.

I thought it was just a lie to get Pete to start playing harder. Would be cool to see it as a focal point of a few upcoming episodes though, especially after the Pete/Taco rivalry in the second episode.

Pop what? Pop what? WHAT IS HE TRYING TO SAY!?!?

I guess. I'm not super attuned to the mainstream music scene, but it seems to me that ever since "Yonkers" blew up about two years ago the Odd Future train has been driving pretty strong on a pretty wide level. I definitely recall all the thinkpieces written comparing them directly to Wu Tang and Public Enemy, as well

Right, but Odd Future constantly perform songs together on stage. It's like the big hook of their live shows. Same with A$AP and Black Hippy and ProEra. All the members tour together and perform songs together. It just seems at a point in time where hip-hop has been injected with life almost as a direct result of

I only watched until the first commercial break, so right when that journalist sketch with the dog finished. This was the first episode I have ever watched. Are these guys always so out of touch? I kept waiting for their bit about there not being rap groups/hip-hop collectives anymore to go somewhere but it never did.

I thought people confusing Cartman's costume was pretty good. I like how they keep bringing back people making an immediate connection between him and Bruce Vilanch. Think it's a good running gag rather than a tired joke.

Liked the way in that Yeti Point sketch how they kept doing close ups of Mars looking at the camera in weird ways because it was so much like that excellent return of "The Californians" last week.
