I've always felt the same way.  You have few options growing up in Harlan and the show does a great job showing the limited career opportunities of its residents.   Raylan could very easily have taken Boyd's path.

i read an interview with the showrunners and they said Paxton was just an arrogant dick who actually believes he's broken Boyd.  They hinted that he'll be dealt with next season

I'd get rid of at least half a Dozen characters in  AFFC and add a Nymeria chapter.   I'd rather follow her than most of the AFFC characters

i used to watch it but gave up after the "huge" cliffhanger with Hank last year.  out of boredom, I tuned into an episode a few weeks ago and realized I missed absolutely nothing this season.  Never a great show but it was at least entertaining earlier in its run.
