Relax. The lyrics are "ironic," like the ones in "Girls" and "She's On It."

***SPOILERS** I don't mind twist endings as much as some, but the first one really annoyed me because it willfully deceives the audience in a way that isn't legitimate. Mark Ruffalo's FBI agent is ultimately revealed to be the "mastermind" behind all of the stuff that's going on, but the movie has him act like he's

Pitch Perfect 3: We're All In Year Six Of Working on Our Dissertations

I couldn't make it through the second season, but I'm glad I started it just for the scene where Jan from The Office gets wasted, shows up at the pool party, and calls out the Pfeffermans for being the awful people they are.

It didn't help that the "she really liked him the whole time" montage was kicked off by a scorching high five where she didn't even look at the kid.

Exactly. She was in charge of the project, and sat on the same side of the desk as the principal during the meeting. I didn't remember her earlier appearance on the show so I was thrown off by the flirting.

I assumed she was a teacher.

I was on the show about 15 years ago, and this is definitely true. You have to time your buzz to when Alex is done reading the clue; early buzzes lock you out for some amount of time, and the other contestants will inevitably buzz during that time. I'm not a Grizzly Bear hater, seen them live (non-festival setting) and liked them, but where the heck did this perception that they are a really prominent band come from?  They haven't had any singles that truly crossed over outside the indie audience, they play medium sized theaters even in big cities.  From the

Well, good. I honestly hope I'm wrong, and this works, and there's a big (enough) audience for it.

Hmm. I really like Burress' standup but I'm having difficulty seeing any of that transposed to a cop character.  Unless it's a portrayal of the most low-key small town cop in history, who just shrugs at teenagers having a kegger in the middle of the forest and makes fun of the music they're listening to, rather than

Yeah, I mean obviously there was a bit of an exploitative aspect to that doc, but it least it tried to provide a little context for the family and their way of life, and gave some time to locals who reasonably explained the problems that the Whites caused for the community and its image.
