"No pain, no envy, no hate."
"No thanks."

I loved the lampshading that they have gotten more evil since the last time Gideon encountered them. I've kinda been noticing it, too, but this episode really made that clear.

The entire series was the Dan Harmon show. That's not a bad thing.

It was great that the meta-ness revolved around the characters, not just for its own sake. Every pitch showed the fears each character had for the future.

It's more Harmon's show than the cast's show, though. If this truly was the last episode, it makes sense that he should be featured more prominently.

I'm glad that Harmon didn't use the new format to just throw that around whenever he liked. It was perfect here, just two f-bombs in the season finale.

At this point, I'm more in the "make a movie and end it" camp, I have to say.

I LOVED Jeff's "pitch" about what would happen if everyone but him left the show. Promoting the miscellaneous extras to the main cast, bringing in Seth Green as some Hail Mary replacement character…Harmon knows what's up if he tries to continue the series.

That was such a brilliant twist. And it makes total sense.

Between the disclaimer gag and the existential crisis of the father ("You stupid child. No one wins. We weren't created by God, we were created as a joke.") this tag was one of the best of the show. What a way to end a season.

Probably because it's not that big of a deal.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water here.

Briggs Hatton was a character, not an actual writer.

There was a "pop, pop" in Magnitude's appearance, though: the two gunshots. One of the more subtle jokes in the episode.

He never "hated" Jeff, just disliked how closed and jaded he was being. When Jeff actually opened up and put himself out there, Elroy accepted him.

I see Community AS a meta show. You seem to hate every instance of that, so why do you even watch it?

Oh my god, he's a level seven.

Same

Wait - this account is actually the guy who plays Garrett? That's awesome! I didn't know AVC was popular enough to get the actors making accounts here.

Your first and second paragraphs are contradicting each other. Did you like the episode or not?
