She's a coucher!

Funny in joke - that janitor was played by Abed Gheith, the real-life inspiration for the character. Glad that Harmon finally got him to appear on the show.

Garrett making fun of Jeff was amazing.

Jeez this episode comes out and now everyone's an ornithologist

That one gave me chills. The reveal that he only talked to Chang like that because of his acting potential was brilliant.

I don't think he was supposed to be heroic, just apologetic. You can see that the rest of the SGC still holds it against him after his speech, like how no one invites him to the play, or when he's constantly rebuffed by Abed throughout the play. We can see that he's definitely sorry, but I never saw an indication that

He was a "politician" because he did whatever immoral thing he had to do to keep his job. I thought that was pretty clear. He forced the nest to be moved under pressure from the board, which caused two birds to die. He felt bad about that, felt like someone who actually does belong on a school board, and so made that

Tolerable? He was the star. S6 Chang is best Chang

Yeah, that's nasty. It's like he's my grandma.

S5 ended with a huge Jeff/Annie cliffhanger, it would be a disservice to the continuity to not address it or build on it in some way.

Yeah, Abed and Elroy could've easily moved it with some sterilized wooden/metal instruments, but then there's no plot, so it's nbd

Why would you read a review before watching the episode for yourself?

The implication was that the bird is going to make a nest in the transformer, thereby continuing the cycle. At first, sparing the birds just meant the WiFi was delayed, but then it's revealed that one of the birds they're protecting is going to fuck up the actual town's power. Typical Dan Harmon irony at its best.

Are you kidding? You must've missed a lot of the episode, then, because the meta-ness in this one was high. Didn't you see when Brewster's dual role of IT Lady/Frankie was directly addressed in a way that Paradigms of Human Memory already set up? That's pretty ingenious, and that's just one example from the episode.

Oh my God. Chang as Mr. Miyagi. I hate to admit it, but his performance honestly made me tear up a bit. I love how they built up to Chang being a good actor in such a natural, yet unexpected way. Great writing all around, but it's almost outshined by Ken Jeong's acting. Like, damn. We have a classic episode already.

Hmm…sacrificing a single child's life, or plunging the entire world into 10,000 years of darkness and chaos? Intended audience aside, it's pretty easy to see what the ethical choice is there.

Stop trying to coin the phrase "streets ahead".

Easily my favorite Avatar character. She alone is why the last two seasons are better than the first.

Except the lesson here wasn't "you can't trust chicks", it was "you can't trust evil sentient computer programs". The titular "real girl" of the episode was the one that Soos could trust, and was presented in a wholly positive light. Not every villain of the show needs to have some redeeming quality. Did people flip

Yeah, I love Wendy as the slacker who's still smarter than mostly everyone else.
