In order for that to work, they'd need to find and revive Wild Man/Misfit Murray, not the deadpan, morose creature that the Wes Anderson movies helped turn him into.

I was saying the exact same thing in the comments of last installment. Comedy always gets the short shrift, I wish they'd do a separate list just for comedies of the decade. There's a lot of variety in the genre too.

Yeah, there were so many good movies out at that time, I remember going to see both Fight Club and Bringing Out The Dead on the same day - a self-imposed double feature being a rarity for me at time. (And still today.)

Deep Affection for The Shawshank Redemption appears to be some sort of terrible plague people become infected by. (Conspiracy theory: Ted Turner started deliberately releasing it into the middle-class population in the mid-'90s…)

I love that movie. It's good, but I think it gets overlooked in Carpenter's filmography because the '90s is known as when his movies Started Sucking. Kind of an outlier in that sense.
