Also, this looks terrible, but I can understand them jettisoning the Verhoeven social satire.  That's his schtick, and if they REALLY had to remake Robocop, I guess it's a good idea to go in a different direction.  Who knows, maybe they go in an interesting direction with the free will mumbo jumbo.
