Track record dude. Bay hasn't made a coherent movie in a decade. Blomkamp made an incredibly self-assured action flick on a micro-budget. Elysium sounds like everything I could ever want out of a summer movie.

D9 is one of the best action movies of the past decade, and action movies are my favorite kind of movie. So, uh, yeah, I'm gonna see this.
I think people have mistaken Blomkamp's aims (and Dowd seems to realize it now, but in a negative light). People wanted so badly for District 9 to be an allegory, which is certainly had elements of. I think Blomkamp is more interested in setting than allegory. He enjoys creating interesting dystopias within which…
He was just, like, ranting about "fake fans" and people who didn't like Local Business. It was kind of weird, but probably harmless. And yeah, he does seem to get more creative when he's pissed off or depressed or whatever.
Yep, just read them, he does not come off that badly.
Fuck yeah, Mel Gibson is back, bitches.
Is Marah just speculating or does White actually have beef with the Black Keys?
Ah crap, I've always liked Jack White; it always seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders and he's made some killer music. Although these days, if a famous musician isn't a little crazy then it's news.
It's just rag and bone.
Oh God, ACIII was the biggest waste of my time and money ever for a video game. I don't think I enjoyed a single moment of it. I'm just happy I bailed on it early. Unless ACIV gets rapturous reviews I'm going to stay far, far away.
Um, pretty sure the movie will be that.
Seriously, it's not difficult.
Oooh, I was thinking about hitting up that concert as well, I've been really digging those bands this year.
Goddamn, that story…
Agreed. Cameron is a great film maker and story teller, but the Avatar world is a complete nonstarter.
*Cough* Matrix *Cough*
Seriously. James Cameron, we know you can do awesome shit; drop this Noble Savage dickery and make something cool.
Um, are there any Cheetos left? If not…a banana.
I liked the first Hobbit quite a bit, despite missing it in theaters. I'll definitely catch this one on the biggest screen possible.
Let's see, movies, music and vidya games have mostly been covered.
