Philip Seymour Hoffman was a truly wonderful actor, but I'm not sure that I'll ever be comfortable with seeing cis men play trans women (note: I have not seen the film).

B+. Not as ambitious or emotionally affecting as other episodes, but perhaps the funniest of season 5 yet.

A. Not as great as last week's but still pretty great.

A. Duh doy.

B+. Lacked the emotional depth of the best concept episodes, but still a lot of fun to be had.

The Returned not even in the top 10!

Thanks, that interview is great.

I think that's kind of the point of the article. Enlightened doesn't have the same hooks that shows like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones (both of which I love) have, and that may be why it's not as popular. But it's still a stunning piece of television in its own right.

Why does the series have a responsibility to show "human decency"? Can art not explore the concept that humans aren't inherently decent, and given the right situation, we're all capable of doing terrible things?

A without question.

Come on, Todd. *Please* don't just write off the opinions of those who disagree with you as less valid than yours.

Parenthood. Parenthood is awesome.

"first multi-camera, live-action sitcom from the Seth MacFarlane factory."
No, he also had "The Winner" on Fox in 2007.

No TV and no beer make SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMS go crazy.

That's it. Time to give up on this whole "civilisation" thing. Not worth it.

@reuelb5427:disqus that's absurd.
