I think 'You Only Live Twice' is goofy and wonderful.  I especially like the 10 minutes of time spent making Bond up to be a Japanese gentleman, a subplot found nowhere in the book and promptly abandoned by the movie without resolution.

Agreed.  I think 'The World Is Not Enough' is unfairly maligned.  If one simply pretends that Denise Richard's character is not present in the film, I think it ascends to the status as classic.  Not to mention the fact that the plot of the film, Caspian basin oil power politics, actually was a major concern of the

Personally, I think the male-female ratio quite acceptable.  It doesn't really matter, though: there haven't been too many posts discussing things from a 'male' or 'female' perspective.
