@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus I don't agree.  While it may not square with the character of Will Riker, Tom Riker had a decade or more in isolation to go crazy.  We may not have seen much of that in 'Second Chances', but that doesn't mean that the potential wasn't there.
