"Shut the fuck up, Gary" is probably the best catch phrase gag of any comic I've seen in the last few years.

Mooney and Bennet are treasures. Evey time I heard disappointing news about SNL this summer, I was sure they were finally fired.

Honest Hearts gives you a pretty good idea of the Legion's effects on society, even if it doesn't really portray life inside Legion territory.

A cleric will ruin a necromancer's day, sure. So will a big enough AOE. What makes them so good is that their zombies and skeletons from Animate Dead get a scaling bonus to attack and damage, allowing them to punch above their CR weight class. Multiple castings of AD across several days = zombie army. It's powerful

The Moon Druid is way overpowered at early levels due to Wild-Shape, and their level 20 ability breaks the game completely (good thing it's level 20 I guess).

But that's not really the case if in 5ed you play anything that uses spells, which is all but like 3 classes. Any caster is going to need a 4ed-like reference for their spells.

That, AND WOTC's complete inability to get a 4ed video game made, also due to licensing nightmares.

Avatar with all the embarrassing dialogue replaced by 70's prog rock is 100 times better.

Because we here in an AV Club thread can say with certainty what the star of the 5th highest grossing film of all time is too busy for

Definitely the best episode of the season so far (not counting Rafi and Dirty Randy)

If you guys want to talk about gut-punch deaths in old-school RPG's, let me tell you about a knight named Dupre in a little place I like to call Serpent Isle.

Yeah it's almost like the scores are arbitrarily assigned and don't mean anything

I completely forgot about Drunk History, which is excellent. Strong year all around for CC.

Between this, Nathan for You, Review, Broad City, and Kroll Show, Comedy Central has been crushing it this year with new(ish) series.

David Simon needs to get to work on my dream show that is The Wire set in El Paso/Juarez

Really shocked to not see anything about Hannibal in the nominations, article or even the first page of comments. Am I on mars right now??

You might just consider the latter.

You pretty conistently have the worst opinions about AT, so I'm going to go ahead and count this one as a win. Maybe stick to Regular Show, bro.

Seriously it felt like Gelman wrote this entire episode.

This episode was pure GELMANIA
