I worked in the meat department of a supermarket for a couple of years, and there were several people missing fingertips. I somehow managed to keep mine, which, given that I'm a walking slapstick moron, is hard to believe.

For a serious drinker, sure. Most of us would be dead/puking, but in my hardcore days I could definitely have managed 10 in that time, and I was nowhere near as hardcore as a lot of folks.
