True story: Many moons ago, I was robbed at knifepoint in La Ceiba, Honduras (because I was being a total fuckwit, but that's another story) and after a long fucking day feeling sorry for myself I ended up in a nicer hotel than I was planning to stay in (because it had gated windows) and went out to the movies to

But where are genital warts on that scale?

I'm pleasantly surprised to find you're a Sabbath fan.

Ozzy was always a shit singer. Listen to any live album, hell, even the studio ones he's kind of crap. I don't see much difference between him then and how.

Have only listened to Is God Dead?, and it's really surprisingly good. It would be better without Ozzy, but what can you do?

RZA's Tragedy is a pretty crazy good song and has no cursing…

Gassy, on the other hand….

"If you don't like Star Time you may as well give up getting along with other people since obviously you don't belong here."

Pretty damn good list of essentials. With Star Time and a couple of live albums (really, just pick anything up to about 1975) you can't go wrong.

Ask me what I smoke and I'll say "It's the method"

I find the notion of Perlman having a tiny wife unreasonably hilarious. It's like a thin guy and a fat guy together - that's comedy!

Good god this place has gotten classy. An article about kind of cute twins (?) and not a single lewd comment - and HDB not only commented several times, but even firsted. I can't even understand you people any more.

@EvelKareebel:disqus One of the things that always bugs me about these historical adaptations (Braveheart, Elizabeth, The Tudors, etc etc etc) is that the actual history of what happened was so bloody interesting. I mean, apparently (so I'm told) Wallace was actually using some quite interesting tactics for his time -

Probably my favourite Steve Earle albums are actually two bootlegs, one from that tour and one with the Bluegrass Dukes that he hired after Del McCoury pulled a hissy fit and refused to tour with him any more. Just so frigging tight live, and it's cool to hear acoustic bluegrassy versions of a lot of his other songs.

@avclub-7f0d5ceefd00ad8303401bdcf213eb83:disqus Robert the Bruce! William Wallace! Uh… Iron Bru!

I have an 8 and a 10 year old, and it's really cool when they do actually glom on to something you like. I just play music from my collection more or less indiscriminately (although I avoid the gangsta rap unless I'm alone), and every now and then they fall in love with something in particular. When my daughter was 4

Eh, American Wedding was pandering, sure, but it had a funny joke or two.

They're so mad. They're just MAD.
