Nah. Fingers crossed for Ted Nugent.
Nah. Fingers crossed for Ted Nugent.
I prefer Session 9 to a few of the movies on this list. Peter Mullan is always wonderful, and the other actors were pretty great too. Even David Caruso was…uh…not quite as horrible as usual. I wasn't crazy about the end of the movie, but the atmosphere and tension definitely make it worth watching. The nyctophobia…
Wasn't that right after Helen's dad told Cole about how he had left his wife and reconnected with a woman from his past? I could swear he mentioned that the woman had a daughter, but maybe I am misremembering.
I don't think I would say that Fishburne is the best actor on the show, but I do agree that the best scenes tonight were the ones that involved Jack. I felt that way about last week's episode too.
Too busy filming all those episodes of Happyish?
Yay! Another person for Fortitude! That was a fantastic and tense episode. I also like the one (I forget the number) where Dan and Morton bring Markus (the teacher) in for questioning. All of the Dan/Morton scenes are fantastic, but I love that one in particular. They both despise Markus so much.
I feel like at least one episode of Fortitude should have made this list. i know hardly anyone watched it, but it is great show. I'd have a hard time picking the episode though. Maybe one towards the end of the season?
Speaking of the West Memphis Three…didn't Damien Echols actually move to Salem after he was released from prison?
That sounds delicious. I guess I didn't eat enough dinner -this thread is making me hungry.
Better than being attached to Eddie Izzard's arm I suppose…
I loved House! I remember thinking it was brilliant, but I haven't rewetted it as an adult. USA Up All Night was pretty much a weekend staple when I was around 11 or 12.
Were you by any chance born in the 70s? Free to Be, You and Me was pretty big in my childhood too. I remember going to see Flight of The Navigator in the theater. I was just recently trying to find it on Netflix for some nine year old that I was babysitting. We ended up watching Explorers instead. They hated it. Kids…
I immediately thought of Christopher Eccleston's character when I read the above quote.
Norm MacDonald's moth joke is the best.
When I was twelve, my aunt gave me her some of her old 45's, including "DOA". I listened to it once. It scared the crap out of me so much that I threw it in the trash. Years later, I told my aunt about it. That Halloween, when I was away at grad school, I got a package in the mail that just said "Boo". She had found a…
Mason Reese couldn't handle it either. http://digg.com/2015/who-is…
I was waiting for someone to link to that!
I've been assuming it was for that character too? Maybe he didn't send all the envelopes to his own apartment. He might've sent some there and some to that new character.
I had the same exact experience. By episode 8, I was invested but the episodes were beginning to feel a little too long. Episode 9 changed all that. I watched the rest in one sitting. In general I think the pacing of the show works though. I like that they took time to let things develop.
Did you see Soundgarden at Lollapalooza 2? I didn't go specifically for them, but I remember that they put on the best show out of all the bands on. I was bored with RHCP and really wanted to leave during their set.
