In 1990 my friends and I bought tickets to Billy Idol because the opening band was Faith No More. We stayed for a few Billy Idol songs. The only thing I remember is that he was still recovering from a serious motorcycle accident, and was using a cane on stage. Faith No More, of course, were fantastic.

I KNOW. I'm hoping Dan will choose to rescue him. Good episode tonight, but when Dan Andersson din't show up until the half hour mark, I realized I had been missing him. The Dan and Morton scenes have been the highlight of the episodes for me.

I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic, but deep down I'm afraid it's going to be terrible. I do love Joe Gilgun, though, and can kind of picture him as Cassidy. I'm more skeptical about the fact that Seth Rogen is one of the show runners.

Probably the first thing I saw Noah Taylor in was Flirting. But shortly after that I saw The Year My Voice Broke, which also starred Ben Mendelsohn. However, it was years before I saw Ben M in anything again. In fact, when I saw Animal Kingdom, it took me forever to realize that he was one of the kids in The Year My

When I saw the words "big ugly hairy smelly goon," I assumed it was a Jim Martin reference. But I doubt he can sing opera.

Animal Kingdom is excellent. When I read the description of Ben Mendelssohn character in this particular show, I thought it sounded similar to Pope in AK.

Me too! She's actually a good actress, but I have such horrible Jenny Schecter flashbacks.

The premiere is a little clunky, but I stuck with it and watched a few more episodes. The cast is so great that I keep rooting for the show to get better. But at this point, I'm mostly just watching because I'm fascinated by Ben Mendelsohn and his dissolutely handsome chinless face.

Nope. I've always thought that Ben Mendelssohn, Noah Taylor, and Nick Cave need to be cast as brothers in a movie.

When Dan Andersson implies that he killed Pettigrew for love, does that mean he did it to protect Elena somehow? Is she connected to Pettigrew's death?

Also, Jonjo O'Neill, who plays Ciaran Donnelly (the bikeshop owner) was in The Day of The Doctor. I usually end up catching the episodes a few days late, which is why I never comment. The week I finally managed to see it when it aired. But I feel like this show should have a bigger following.

Maybe in Oz he had a little bit more of an accent that is supposed to read as "working class"? I dunno. To me he always sounds like he has allergies and/or a stuffy nose.

Ten years ago I would've said Calllum Keith Rennie. And while I do think there is still something McQueen about him with regards to his looks and intensity, he is now in his mid-fifties and probably too old for the part.

Since when is Alan Carr an esoteric reference. Yes, he might be unknown to most US viewers, but he seems to be on UK television quite a bit. Anyway, I would say that Ellen DeGerneres is more comparable to Michael McIntyre (ugh).

Nice to finally see someone mention In The Flesh. I'm disappointed that the show really didn't get much coverage here (or anywhere really).

Yes. But keep in mind that the high point of the show, in my opinion, is the individual performances (esp. Olivia Colman and David Bradley). If you are expecting a perfect tight, cohesive murder-mystery, you may be a bit let down.

I'd give anything to see Broadchurch's Alex Hardy grooving to Heaven Knows I'm Miserable now. But my favorite Blackpool bit will all be Tennant, DMorrissey, and the rest of the cast singing The Gambler: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

I'm surprised that the article didn't mention Emmett Scanlan's most recent role as Simon in the BBC's In The Flesh. He is excellent in that. Easily the world's dreamiest zombie…uh…I mean Partially Deceased Syndrome sufferer. It's too bad that the AVC didn't cover the second season of ITF. It's brilliant and not your

They're rebooting House? Too soon!
