I love that in Rollin' Durst says that other bands need to "get some better rhymes" after rhyming "back the fuck up" with "shut the fuck up".

Adore is fantastic.
Corgan also worked on Mechanical Animals with Manson and Celebrity Skin with Hole that year, which were both great.
Then came Machina and the long, slow descent into insanity.

Anyone doubting the attractiveness of Kate Micucci needs to check out that ducks video on You Tube. She's cute as hell in the bathtub scenes.

To be fair, there was quite a lot of fucking on that island past Season One, most of it done by Sawyer.

ride the snake!
Carrey's last SNL was the high point of a really weak season. Ferrell and crew were still fairly new, and hadn't quite hit their stride the way the did for the next three seasons or so.
Hopefully he can provide the same creative jump start for this lame-ass crew.

For some reason that went over my head on the first viewing, but it hit home this morning. It's beautiful both in terms of story structure and character development.

I agree in theory, and would love more Community every week, but then I thought of the hour-long episodes that opened the fourth season of The Office, and I think it's best to not fuck with the format. Those were interminable.

These are the party daaaaaaaaaays!

And also every vertebra on her spine. That was NOT good naked.

I think they've just realized how much pure talent they've got on their hands with Donald Glover, and they're writing toward that, in the same way that they figured out early on last season that the key dynamic in the show was Troy/Abed, not Jeff/Britta.

What's sadder: that Annie also has a Charlie St. Cloud poster up, or that I could recognize a Charlie St. Cloud poster?

Yeah, listening to CDR on the bus can lead to some bizarre looks from fellow passengers.
Tig's such a laid-back presence, it's always great when she sits in on one of those shows. Her WTF episode was surprisingly emotional as well, when she told her story about driving to the South to find her family after Katrina.

Upon further GISing, it does work better in context. It still seems very Kevin Kline-I'll leave it up to you to determine if that's a good or a bad thing.

Crash his car, Troy!

::bzzzt:: Good one. ::bzzzt::

That's Dame Sir Paul F. Tompkins to you. Sporting the dumbest ironic facial hair I've ever seen.

Anyone that thinks Hugh Jackman can't act needs to watch the scene where he tattoos his ring finger. Reduces me to a blubbering mess every time.
The Fountain is awesome. The Wrestler-not so much.

Still cool as a zombie.

Empire's one of the all-time greats in any genre.
Awesome old men are dying left and right. Watch yer ass, Vigoda!

The final shot of the first Naked Gun, with Nordberg rolling down the stadium steps and then flipping over the railing, is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
