A friend in high school punched a bully in the face. The bully was an amateur boxer, so the immediate aftermath was not pleasant for my friend, but the other kid got suspended and my friend wasn't in trouble at all.
We're going with the "just ignore him" speech just so my son will have some sense of agency, as if something he can do will matter. But at the same time we're doing everything else we can to get the other kid removed from the class. Even though that's probably not going to happen either.

Last week the bully kid in my son's class was grabbing my son for no reason, just randomly, according to everyone including the teacher and according to that kid himself. Later that day, he tackled my son and slammed his head into the ground, because my son "smirked at him".

We got the Playboy Channel but the video was all scrambled. The audio was fine though. I remember spending a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on.
Yeah we're not encouraging him to punch the kid…but if he happens to punch him, I think we'll let it slide.
I thought it was slow to get going, and more like a textbook for the first half (which is great since dry history textbooks are my jam), but it gets more exciting at the end.
