Jay S, make Core Concept tell the story right!

That's a pretty good start!

I finished 3rd in my fantasy hockey league despite being 1st all season, thanks to injuries and some shitty play from my goalies. But it's still pretty good considering I took over a 14th-place team less than two years ago.

"The highest new release per-screen average was for a documentary about Hannah Arendt."

They could play a box of rocks in front of Carey Price and he'll keep them in the game. Without him they just a box of rocks.

Meanwhile, in Canada, the Leafs managed to finish in actual last place for only the second time in my life! They've been down there in that direction often, and second-last place several times, but last place, man, that's something.

My full name is apparently super common. There was even another kid with the same name in my high school.

"When will then be now?"

He was a Yankee then, but everyone still remembered when he joined the Jays several years later. But then we forgave him because, well, World Series.

According to Ernie Whitt, the Jays' catcher in the 80s, Boggs supposedly had to run all the way around the field a certain number of minutes before a game started, so if it started at 7:30 he had to run at 7:14, or whatever. So before one game, Whitt arranged to have the clock stop at 7:13, then start again at 7:15,

The Leafs managed to finish in last place! Hooray! Now they'll have the best chance of winning the draft lottery. The Cup parade route is already being drawn up.

It could be either, and that sentence makes equal amounts of sense either way (i.e., not much).

It seems like at least once a week, co-stars have the same birthday, like Daisy Ridley and Max von Sydow today. (I mean, not co-stars since they didn't have any scenes together, but…in the same movie anyway.)

"That's some language you've got there. And you talk like that 24/7 huh?"

Ahem, there is also a Columbus-Buffalo game tonight, and who wouldn't be excited for that?

Me too! I am often surprised at how much of what I think is common knowledge is completely unknown to everyone else.

Somebody recently gave "sweetness and light" as a sarcastic answer to a question about their relationship with Hillary Clinton. Otherwise I would have never heard that phrase in my life.

So it's like a Quiz Bowl tournament.

Pull the other one!

I got it from the Wes Anderson movie!
