Question
Am I alone in the sentiment that it would've been far more interesting if the old woman could not be convinced that it was not her husband and so consequently Peter had to kill her?
I'm not trying to be morbid, but considering how Peter took a turn into the dark side a few weeks ago, this scenario would fit in

* disappointment (damn you auto correct)

A-? Really?
I spent a month catching up on 2 and a half seasons of Fringe so this was my first "live episode," and wow what a dismantlement. I don't know, it's not that the other Olivia is uninteresting but the people around her and tonight's freak of the week failed to entertain me. The only thing I got out of it was

As someone who is theoretically in the field of journalism, watching Frontline makes me better knowing that there are still people out there doing actual journalism particularly when you consider what passes for "news" on cable networks and at 11.

I was ready to scream bloody murder when I noticed The Last Guardian snuck in a the very end. You owe it to yourself to play Shadow of the Colossus and Ico if you haven't.

Sports books
I enjoyed Free Darko's Undisputed Guide to Pro Basketball History. It's the thinking man's basketball book. Only knock is there's nothing about myself or Drazen in the book.

I agree that this wasn't the Joker at his best in BTAS, but the one thing that has always stood out to me about the episode was his face when he's riding the trash cube. Says a thousand words.

Anyone actually see this yet?
Can't speak for the Wayne version since I haven't seen that but this movie is wonderful. I'm probably one of the few people that wasn't blown away by The Big Lebowski, so I couldn't admit to being much of a Jeff Bridges fan. That made his performance in this movie all the more impressive.

Small omission
Could've had one episode of the Colbert Report. Can't think of the most noteworthy episode this year but it's been a good season.

This was more or less a third person shooter with a lot of dialogue which was a let down considering the first game had a solid ammount of RPG elements. On the plus side, seems like Bioware is paying heed to the feedback:

Buy the Orange Box or at least Team Fortress 2. Amnesia Dark Decent. Both Mass Effect 1 and 2. And depending on your tastes Left 4 Dead 2.

I was thinking The Wire when Hank was removing the map and photos of his board and putting up the new one of Cutshaw. A nice touch. Hopefully we'll get "A New Day."

Two Issues
One the controls…I could seriously do without having to shake the control to roll. I miss the days where buttons did things. I'll give you at.
Two the music. It's the music from the original DKC remixed. Which is fine but they really should have gotten David Wise to make some new stuff now that he's not with

28 Months Later
Loved 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later. Pessimistic at this point that they'll make a third one to close the series.

Count me in. First time for me since I tried to save The Magic Hour.

Seconded there on Gattaca's soundtrack. Surprised no one else mentioned that.

Mass Effect does have an awesome soundtrack; even the ambiance is great. Also Okami, Metal Gear series (especially MGS 3), Killer 7, Half-Life 2, and for some older stuff Donkey Kong Country 2 and SimCity 2000. I've already mentioned Shadow of the Colossus before but thats awesome too.

YourName is right. The Moon has an amazing soundtrack and is a fantastic film in its own right.

I have to admit I didn't like this film a whole lot but it nailed the 80's vibe with its soundtrack especially with Under The Milky Way.
