That's not just any marching band— it's the USC marching band. I think most people on campus know "Tusk" as the "UCLA sucks" song. It's still quite the jam.

Not my favorite theme but no love for Unsolved Mysteries?

What about an AV Club L.A.? You already have Todd there.

Not as good as season seven's finale but I liked it. My dad has Parkinson's so never in a million years did I think it could be funny. Larry David has proven me wrong yet again. Shouldn't Michael J. Fox have been clumping around in Air Mags though?

Great ep. Love that original script called for him to have a coin or something in his pocket from the simulation when he woke up but network was against that. Ultimately that was the kind of show it became though.

The pub is dictated by the pint you're looking for.

Yeah they still do that and it's still pretty great. Whenever I'm at my parent's place, I notice they stop whatever they're doing just to watch that segment.

You've got me! To equate me saying that this show has a large female following to misogyny is totally a valid point. Obviously all women are incapable are picking good shows and I have you sir/ma'am to thank for pointing that out to me.

But seriously
Is there a point to watching this unless you want to be able to talk about it with some of your friends (most likely of the female persuasion)? I mean I like guilty pleasures as much as the next person but this is just mediocre television best case scenario.

No doubt that the series ended on a high note. But why would you not want this? One last hurrah for one of the best casts I've ever seen in a comedy.

Kind of wished I hadn't watched
Don't get me wrong. Very insightful. But man Ernie Lopez's story made me tear up. As someone in Texas right now, I know all too well that Rick Perry and the Texas Supreme Court treat "expert witnesses" like the Word of God and it makes for several mistakes that can never be undone. Hope

That was fun
But didn't that interview posted earlier more or less give away who's running this paint ball tournament? They do give a big hint in the promo but I'm not sure if that's intentional.

Haven't watch since 2009
But yeah that was surprisingly well done. Reminded me of "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish," in that Michael's list mirrored Homer's list of things to do before he died. It's a shame the show has to continue and I mean that in the nicest way possible because I used to think this was the best

Swing and a miss
After last weeks impressive episode, this one seems pretty weak. I felt like its sole purpose was to move along Shirley's baby plot line and for an episode that should have been about Shirley, it did little to advance her character. Of equal significance there were only chuckles to be found from this

Part of me feels that Archer deserved that given all the terrible things he's done to other people. But on the other hand as much as can be expected of him, Archer did mature this season and it did seem like he had turned a corner. I saw Katya's death a mile away but it was still a huge downer.

Might be possible. If Sawyer is in the season finale who's to say a flashback episode isn't possible?

Certainly there are some important moments but I would argue that there are some slow spots that while crucial in setting up Walter as a character, could easily turn away people who are not patient. Large chunks of the first episode are void of dialogue or action for example and while that certainly plays to a certain

I would add
Breaking Bad. This show starts off really slowly. Obviously its pertinent to set up the fact that Walter has cancer but that first season (albeit abbreviated) is somewhat slow and doesn't begin to foreshadow the amazing stuff to come.

I thought the Britta storyline was solid but yeah the Chang/Shirley thing did nothing for me.
That said I love the Fallout reference. Just needed a guest appearence by Liam Neeson and it would've been perfect.

Hmm…
Seems like it'd be a lot easier to get a vasectomy.
