My favourite moment was Ravi gently clearing his throat (while drinking tea from a flowery teacup; he couldn’t be more British if he tried!) when Liv and Major were discussing their last-night tryst. So wonderfully underplayed by Kohli.

To this day, I can’t forgive BtVS for killing off some random student in ‘Hush’ via the Gentlemen in the college dorms instead of Parker ‘the difference between a freshman girl and a toilet seat’ Abrams. I mean, come on, that was a golden opportunity right there!

Mainly because all of those people just sat there while a really gross-looking stranger spouted wacky theories and then killed their pastor? Really?

I hope they bring Morgan back on Riverdale though. She was chillingly perfect in the role, and she rocks that Serpent look way more than that stupid white Livewire makeup.

Katie Cassidy bought an apartment in Vancouver when Arrow started and at different times the LA-based Danielle Panabaker and Caity Lotz have roomed with her.

I owe Ferguson an apology for being slightly harsh on her when she predicted a sophomore slump after the second episode. I was such an optimistic naïf two months ago *sniff*

Though both Betty and Archie have a firm Ross Geller defense, so it doesn’t seem like it should be that big a deal.

  • Cheryl Blossom has a habit of making non-sexual things seem sexual. Which is why I question her current—and desired—relationship with Josie. They have two scenes together, one of them is Cheryl trying to stop Josie from making $5,000 (while treating FP like Chet Hunter). The other is: Cheryl massaging Josie’s back,

Shoot, you’re right. I found the episode on Netflix and checked. I don’t know how I got that mixed up haha. It’s interesting to see the about face Cheryl has made regarding her feelings for Betty, especially considering she let Betty audition for the cheerleading team only to reject her out of spite. I suppose the

Exactly. This is why I had so much trouble getting behind last week’s episode. OK, so maybe going to the police (and by police, I mean Sheriff Keller, because why would Riverdale need another policeman) isn’t such a hot option either, but she never even stopped to consider that obeying the whims of a murderer maaaay

I’ve liked Mark Consuelos’s work so far, but this was his first, big scenery-chewing moment, and Hermione had to go ruin it by intervening :(

I think she hasn’t forgotten that Betty was the only one to immediately come after her and comfort her when she ran away from the football game early in season 1. That, coincidentally, is one of my favourite moments from season 1.

‘The scariest Hiram has been, and the most I have liked him, was his reaction to hearing that Veronica was attempted-raped. And as the review says, very interesting that Veronica I’m pretty sure deliberately dropped that bombshell, knowing that would be his reaction.’

I had a little trouble getting behind this episode at first, because Betty’s decision to obey the whims of a MURDERER instead of going straight to the police seemed like it was asking for too much suspension of disbelief. I attributed her behaviour to her being a teenager, which allowed me to settle down and enjoy the

Holy cow (does anyone outside of Archie comics even say that?), what a great episode! This was the first true, balls-to-the-walls mad, instant classic episode of the season - and that was without including Cheryl! This is how you do a Riverdale episode - have no more than three or, at worst and only if necessary, four

I suspect like her flirty offer to help Juggie investigate the cipher, they have a more nefarious/ sexy motivation.

I do hope nothing bad happens to Ruby, because no matter how annoying I might find her character — and she is annoying — it would be pretty lazy for that to be what causes Sam to snap and become Reign.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree that the show’s appeal is Larry’s authenticity vs. other people’s phoniness. I just think that everyone’s temperament in the show is heightened to match Larry’s own temperament. This was apparent in Season 7, when Jerry Seinfeld and Larry found the latter’s assistant bare midriff

Like the reviewer, I laughed throughout the episode at the smaller moments, such as Larry annoying Susie about the fruit and literally every interaction Larry and Richard had, but I didn’t laugh once at the climactic set-piece. It’s fine if CYE wants to go big every once once in a while, but then it needs to tie those
