Actually, I think now the perfect time to start explaining the carnies and Samuel's agenda instead of earlier. Season 2 of Buffy took about 11 episodes for it's Angelus situation and in season 2 of Angel it took about 12 for the Darla thing to really kick in and him go all 'extreme' broody.

The episdoe was pretty bland, admitted. But the ending was awesome.
