Whew, that's Kelsey Grammer and not Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

I watched it for a few minutes whenever I channel flipped, and reminded myself to properly sit down to see the entire thing. I like the premise of a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl. Rowan Blanchard was very likeable and I think her friendship with her friend, whose name escapes me, was cute.
I've already hailed Manchester By the Sea's street side meeting between two of its characters (to preserve some spoilers if you haven't seen the movie yet) so I'll go with The VVitch's scene with the ailing boy with his worried family.
Liberals following the Tea Party playbook of political construction and commitment should have an effect, if, you know, it wasn't liberals doing it. We need to fucking grow up in political activism and not be so bad at it.
"What is Nothing Ado About Much?" "Dammit!"
Objection: the source novels for Rambo and Death Wish should not be in a category entitled "Literature (In Action)".
I got a lot of problems with you people, and now you're gonna hear about it! Yes, I know that already passed! I'm just making a general statement of purpose. Grievance 1: Alien Jesus ain't so hot. Grievance 2:…..[three hours later] and California cheese is DELICIOUS!
I'm gonna link to a good article by Vox about Mitch McConnell. They interviewed his biographer who argues that McConnell's only core interests in his government career have been winning elections. That he started out much more liberal but turned conservative when he saw how popular that was. That even his current…
#8: "Drink your orange juice, Billy, while I schtup your mother."
So less than a minute to go before FJ, with the bottom, most valuable clues left, Mukund, behind, goes for the 400 dollar one. Come on, man. DD1 was too easy to be a Daily Double. Continuing with the Star Talk plug, there's been recently too much product placement on the show, as if Jeopardy! needed money. I liked…
What a bunch of boobs. And the KKK.
To go from a bum artist to dictator of a country is pretty impressive.
I knew I should have added more to the line. I meant a survey of terrorists professions before they became terrorists, engineering would be the highest percentage. I don't actually believe this, or have weird spite against engineers, who, some I assume are good people ;), but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of…
This had too much plot—from Mary giving birth to dying, for example— feeling longer than it was. Mary exiting was just pretty cruel for John, who now has a motherless baby daughter to raise. I didn't dislike Mary being a super secret agent, though her airplane shtick served no other purpose than showing off (and…
Yeah, mine too shows the corporate blockbusters and nothing else. My matinee was $11.50, with a regular adult ticket being $15.50. Theater prices seem to have gone up. Not worth it if the brightness is poor.
Hmm, I do not like the new plot developments in Sherlock.
I did like the robot who had more of a personality than all the other characters and made me think of Bender Bender Rodriguez.
The best thing about True Detective Season 2 was the Leonard Cohen song in the opening credits.
Sorry about your uncle, who otherwise must be a lovely man, but he being an engineer isn't surprising. It appears a disproportionate amount of terrorists had that profession. Maybe there's quantitative proof. I don't know what in the field makes people easier to turn into crazy ideologues.
A merely okay start to my movie new year with Rogue One. I forgot to avoid my local movie theater, which seems to have developed a screen lighting problem: second movie where the picture's been dim. That made the chief pleasure of the movie, the visuals, rather dim as well. The script is slight and I expected Felicity…
