Sure. Why many Americans believe that presidents don't need qualifications and any previous governing, political experience. In fact, those things are pretty harmful, according to the electoral college poll we just had.
The most recent and best example of politics and governing as sports teams. The ideas and behavior, and the hypocrisy of adopting those ideas and behaviors after you attacked the other side for having them, don't matter. It's all about the letter next to the name winning.
Why it's so important in this age of Trump to step up support for independent wrestling companies who will keep him accountable.
"Fifty years from now" and "a"? It's nothing but black comedies from now on, all the way down.
She was! Having a kind of Mackenzie Davis thing going on.
These violent cake-eating delights have violent bathroom ends. (sorry)
My name is actually Libidinous Kettle. Or will be when I get drunk and desperate enough to legally change it.
As long as the President-Elect is disrupting diplomacy, I wouldn't mind if he publicly called the Armenian Genocide a genocide and pissed off Turkey, too. A suggested new foreign relations plan: piss off every country so that it appears he didn't piss off any.
Le Witch.
According to her, Allison is related to the real Al Swearengen. Just on that alone, I wanted her to win. And she was the only one that got FJ right when the men gave dumb answers.
I don't disagree with you. I just have very small anecdotal evidence for making that claim; I've talked to a few colleagues and acquaintances who don't have a sexist bone in their body but don't want their beloved films messed with. I've argued "who cares?" but they're set in their ways.
Yeah, sure, I don't disagree with that. Those people won't come around. But maybe these movies will cause resentment in non-sexist men who don't want to have their beloved films with beloved male characters turn all women. This is more speculation; I don't really care and these remakes are fine with me.
"Stupid, sexy Bagginnss."
I don't care either. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, because I want to see these great actresses play off each other in this franchise. But what I'm trying to say is that just making all female versions of popular films is a superficial way of treating and solving the problem. Now I don't know if it will…
I'm all for theater doing this for classic plays, but for some reason I think too many gender flipped versions of classic movies may be counterproductive, causing too much resentment in unenlightened male audiences. Plus it's a lazy way to solve the deep sexism problems plaguing the industry. Much better to create…
Crazy ex-girlfriend plans complicated casino heist with her equally crazy girlfriends to get back at the poor dude. Just like women. Amirite, fellas?
The villains in the original films were of the same gender as our heroes. They should have dropped Damian Lewis and gotten Tilda Swinton. She and Blanchett have never acted together as far as I know, and that needs to definitely happen.
Thanks for that. Buckley was a big ham, wasn't he?
Last night during Pledge Week, they showed Yakov Smirnoff lecturing about the neuroscience of relationships. Good for him he's studying other things.
