Listen pillow-pants… your misappropriation of Gone Daddy Gone makes me remember their misappropriation of Gone Daddy Gone, and that just makes my Femme Violent.

@Scrawler2:disqus  Outstanding

@avclub-d892cfee412f049ca3da7ada13bcf9ff:disqus I see your points but don't agree with them.  I think @I HATE DONKEYS has proven my point.  Just curious because my 20-year old self would have agreed with you but my 41 year old self does not… are you young? Your opinions on kid books v. adult books matter less the

I admire Rowling's bravery, because she can't win here.
If I had accomplished what she has and made the money she has - and still wanted to write - I'd have to do it under a pen name.  Partially out of a fear of failure, but mainly because it won't matter how good this book is. It will fail even if it succeeds.  If it

K. Thrace: "…and it annoys me when adults seem to think that these books are complex works of genius.  They're excellent children's books; why must we pretend otherwise?"

She should retire too.

Or just read the Narrator's post.  He's returned, you see.

AVClub, seriously, just pay The Narrator Returns a few bucks a week to do an addendum article.  His post is *always* more interesting then your DVD picks and I've taken to scrolling down and looking for his posts after skimming your article.  A Trip to the Moon? A funny Simpsons reference? Come on!

There's a lot to be said for Madonna's impact on pop music and her two decade dominance over music and culture. There's a lot more to be said for quitting, with dignity, while still well ahead.

Hey puppy,
I'm 2 feet 6 and 3 feet long with big paws.  I'm over 50 in dog years and I have the most dreamy eyes and… zzzzzz.

One was a cunt-eyed motherfucker who killed Wild Bill.
T'other was a dandy serial killer who didn't have a cunt-eye.
Pretty clear distinction really.

I tend to find that most attractive women aren't.  Fuck tradition!

Hate to break it to them but… Dieter Laser creates a villain that never gets as much to do as he should. Played broader and in a far better movie, I think Dieter's mad scientist would be on the way to becoming a classic villain.  He's terrific in every stupid sequence of this movie.

All this Wild at Heart commentary …
and nobody has mentioned "Crispin Glover in a Santa suit in the kitchen making his LUNCH!!!"

This really is one of my favorite movies ever. I can see hating it - maybe - if you're expecting Blue Velvet.  I think one reason not to like it is that it's a balls out manipulative cartoon with Wizard of Oz overtones. There's a lot of weird for weird's sake here. The shark it almost jumps is, IMO, the car crash

Do people not like Wild at Heart?
Seriously? No, seriously, I don't get out and talk to people much.

Couldn't agree more.
Falls to the ground, shoots panty-hose covered head off with shotgun.

It's a critic or expert thing.
Favorite = you like because you just like it.
Best is their finest artistic accomplishment from your perspective of being a critic, expert, Internet asshole, fan.
