Hmmm, I don't remember Roseanne ever being critically underrated at all. In fact, I remember it being considered one of the best sitcoms ever, while it was still in its heyday.  It was celebrated until it declined and then it shark jumped, you are right about that… and Roseanne was a terrible person behind the scenes…
