Could. Not. Agree. More
Daniel Gillies looked crazy-hot in that epy.

Goodness, Carrie, I just watched this epy (I know: what in the hell took me so long?!), and all I can remember is hurt-eyed Stefan, Damon-punched - and Holy Mama Mia - ELIJAH!!!!

I am pretty sure it was a trick. I mean, it wasn't explicitly stated (or shown to us in a flashback), but I'm guessing if you add the parts together (overly idealic beach green-screen shot partnered with the bottle of rum/tequila on the nightstand) it was all staged.

I was thinking the same thing about your first question!
The only explanation I can come up with is since no one leaves Storybrooke, maybe everyone does "staycations" and stays at the B&B because that is the only place they can go to relax and vacation?

I think I keep watching because I know the premise has potential and want to give the writers/actors/producers a chance to realize that potential as well.

I think he knows *something* about their past lives becuase the favor that Rumpelstilskin asks from the Evil Queen in one of the earlier episodes is that any time he says the word "please," she has to do what he says. Later on in that episode, Mr. Gold used the word "please" to Regina in a menacing way, and from that

I both love and loathe the Ratings Roundup. Getting the numbers info is so neat! But then, getting the numbers' info is so f-in depressing.
America breaks my heart almost every time.

Agreed. That scene was brilliant.

He is SO attractive. He was on screen for thirty seconds, and yet, that is what I remember most from this epy. Plot line - what is that? I just remember those baby blues.

Also, I loved that you used the word "fisticuffs".

Yay, so many good scenes this week! I know everyone is going nuts over the Klaus/Caroline scene, but damn Stefan on that bridge, trying to act like he doesn't give a shite, but then hearing his voice crack at the end while turning away quickly? SO GOOD.
Also, his bad ass scene with Klaus was just the best. You expect

Yes! The Stefan voice-cracking at the end of the bridge scene was just…. PERFECT.  I mean, he is going slightly crazy because he's trying to punish Klaus and himself in the worst way, but I don't see how Elena is fooled by him. He so obviously cares for her still (just from the fact that he continuously says the

I was thinking the same thing! I was like, "Pick somebody else to throw into the ocean! Not Elijah!"

Beautiful.

You're right. The three women absolutely shined in this epy.

Yes, the last few epys have been hitting everyone over the head with the parallels between the two worlds. Geez.

I understand why they slow-mo'ed the explosion at the end (it's always cool to see those in detail), but there was no need to slo-mo Eliot's running to Nate. Did anyone for a second think Nate was dead? They slowed it down so much that it overdramatized the moment a bit too much.

Hahah - "The Hair". Love it.
Yes, I am huge fan of Elijah. I feel like he has brought more depth to the story of the Originals than any of the others have.

Agreed. I think the reason why I was sort of let down by the ending of this episode was partly because the first part of the season was so strong and after having a six-week hiatus, I was anxiously awaiting the best damn episode in the universe (which is the problem with letting a show break for so long, in my

I want to know too! But to be honest, at the beginning of the episode, I was hoping Bonnie was going to open the coffin with Elijah in it. :)
I just want him back so much!
