Loved this episode so much. Epitome of Mindy, and a great writing and editing team, everywhere.
And not only was Danny's dancing amazing, but the smile that he wore while performing it killed me.

I could not agree more. His nuances are phenomenal.

I disagree with the reviewer on just about everything. I loved this episode. Silly, beautiful, over-the-top, and hot. Very Dracula. There are many things that I liked, but all I can see in my mind's eye is JRM crawling lion-like, predatory style, onto the bed against those red sheets.
The score, the movements with the

I'm probably going to say this often, but I love the writing in this series so much.

To be honest with you, he is creating things that some people nerd out about. It may not have as big an impact as Jobs, Lucas, or Lee has, but I wouldn't still be commenting on this post if I didn't absolutely love what he creates.

I'm not sure if we're arguing the same thing here. However, this sounds like you're stating the "Starving Artist" theory. For example, if Picasso stayed destitute, his work would have been better. However, in him becoming successful, he made timeless and legendary art AND helped create and inspire an entire new

I *loved* that episode. It ran long because Neil wanted to keep talking. It was just fun to hear them shoot the shit and laugh at all of their nerdoms.

I'm of a very minority opinion here, but I love and look forward to the hosftul podcasts. I've been listening from the beginning of their run, and I like to hear about their life arcs. However, from an even more minority opinion, I like Jonah and Matt.

I'm not sure how to argue this point with you because it sounds like a personal perception problem. It comes off like you're saying if you have a successful career or successful friends, you can't nerd out like the rest of us or like music that isn't Top 40s.

I have read all of them actually. I would literally copy and paste some of the quotes from previous comments to disprove your point, but I'm done expressing my opinion of someone I'm a fan of to people who just don't like Chris.

Wow, that "snark is the currency" line is spot-on, Carlos. I think in this corner of the web, Hardwick will never be truly liked by the majority of the out-spoken commentors.

One, I did not use the word "hate" once in my above argument. Two, I do not think I was painting any of my "opponents" simplistically. I gave several reasons as to why others might dislike him so much, and the majority of those were taken from the myriad of comments in this discussion.

I think some are differing opinions, but a lot is vitriol from people who probably haven't even listened to an episode of his podcast since its first year.
Even Nathan R. commented on how he's somewhat confused by all the negativity.

I feel silly saying this, but we do know that he has a life outside of being recorded? He's incredibly busy, a tireless businessman, and probably has LOTS of moments that display other emotions. He probably gets mad at interns and has depressive moments. He states frequently how he's a control freak, so I'm guessing

I love this comment, Nathan. I stated it above, but I'm actually kind of baffled by the constant stream of negativity in this entire discussion. It's like people are trying to be the extreme of what Chris is. AND it's kind of reinforcing the theory that people do not like others who exude happiness. And also the fact

Agree. I really like Jonah and Matt. They can take the conversations into different directions than where Chris can. It's good to have the different personalities and perspectives on the show. A lot of fun tangents and riffs happen when at least one of the other boys are interviewing a guest with Chris.

I can like this comment 20 more times please?

Agreed. If they "tightened up" the show, those fun riffs and candid moments wouldn't be there. It's not a sitcom. It's a conversation, which naturally has lags and bumps in them. It's natural. It's silly. Sometimes boring. Overall, however, it's one of my favorite podcasts to listen to because of all those things.

I love Chris. I love Nerdist. I think at this point, the criticizing and/or hating comments are as predictable as Chris' excited nature. Wherever Hardwick goes, the commentors will follow and tell him how much they hate the way he nerds out over his guests, consumes his podcast with his jokes, and how they don't think

Agreed. People dislike that he talks about the haters on the Internet commenting on his excitement about all the things, and yet they prove him right every time.
