…and Ring-on-string-around-his-neck Dude's ganger doesn't have one (not sure why - surely that counts as clothing?).
Oh and again: What's with Sneezy Dude? Presumably his allergies will allow us to distinguish him from his ganger at some point.
Oh, and there is no way that the change in the color of the cards is a continuity error. It happens in a shot where the Doctor pauses to examine the cards, with a worried look on his face.
Amy, breathe.
Way too late for anyone to read, but…
Yes, viewing list please! This could be awesome.
Nice thought.
That's what I thought initially (when everyone woke up after the storm), but doesn't seem to be how it's playing out.
@Snugglesaurus Rex: Huh. I suppose that does make up for their terribleness, then.
Human Nature/The Family of Blood is one of my favorite bits of TV ever, despite some terrible acting from the Son Of Mine guy, and the ridiculous scarecrows.
I think that's a fair bet. The only reasons I think it won't happen are a) slightly too obvious for SM, and b) there was a lot of insistence that the Doctor who got shot wasn't a clone or something like that (and gooey Doctor is arguably something like that).
my HE story
When I was a teenager, I used to have to catch the late bus back to the suburbs when I'd been out with friends in town. One night, I met a guy on the bus who claimed to be Harlan Ellison. I'd read at least one collection of his short stories (Strange Wine, I think), but had no idea what he looked like.…
Also, technically, it wasn't the Doctor who said that humans should kill Silents on sight - it was the captured Silent who said it. All the Doctor did was pass on some good advice.
Who is the girl
Any takers on the idea that the girl is the Doctor? We know reincarnation doesn't respect age, and judging by Eleven's quick post-reincarnation inventory, it doesn't respect gender either. Of course, it makes for a wacky timeline, but we're going to get that anyway with the death of an Eleven 200 years…
Can't speak to the rest of your post, but I agree about Amy. I think we're dealing with two Amys here - one who loves Rory more than the Doctor, and one that loves the Doctor more (and perhaps bears his child?).
Brian: Yeah, I was counting months, too. I would be very, very surprised if the total was a coincidence.
So that's why I'm such a klutz - I live in a an alien carnage zone. Thanks, that's very reassuring.
If he were still an Auton, a pregnancy scare would be unlikely, yes?
markings
Last week I wondered if the skin marks (shown in the trailers) were a way of keeping track of the Silents, but then thought "Nah - if that were the case, Amy wouldn't have marks on her face." I still think it's weird, but I guess the feasibility of mnemonic that requires a mirror is not a deal-breaker in a…
Hypnomatic, I think I love you.
