Yay!!!! She doesn't seem quite weird enough, but I've thought that before and was proven wrong.

I was hoping for Tilda Swinton, but this is pretty exciting….

YAAASSS!!!

Well, the Doctor didn't witness the Master/Mistress mutual murders, so he shouldn't be too bewildered.

Is this where we're going to discuss and/or bitch about who they've chosen to be the next Doctor? Because I'm watching Wimbledon for the first time ever, and am warming up by complaining about how boring tennis is.

Your salmon and Trader Joe's might be a bit different in quality… :) Still, your point is taken. The only time I've had poor texture in gravlax is when I accidentally bought steelhead instead of salmon proper. The taste was still nice, but it had a tendency to fall apart, so was difficult to slice.

If you keep it in the salt in the fridge, it'll last for months. The pickled version also is good for ages.

Like lox. It's basically the same thing, just stored wet (and in its seasonings) rather than dry. It keeps a really long time in the fridge, and I'm told it cans nicely too, but I've never done that.

I've done it with plastic wrap, and in a ziplock bag. Works just fine.

Thawed would work, but the texture might be a bit mushy.

My favorite variation on this is pickled salmon (I use a recipe from "Joy of Pickling"). Basically, you cure the salmon in salt for a few days, then cut it up and put it a jar with brine, seasoning and onions (I also add kaffir lime leaves and orange slices, because why not). SO YUM.

Um, I don't think it was *kissing* that the Master was referring to.

It's not a Grandfather Paradox, though. The point of a GP is that his death prevents you from coming into existence; here, the Master's death would cause Missy coming into existence. So, the opposite of a paradox, in fact.

My British family introduced me to the Moomins when I was a kid, and I later thought I'd hallucinated them. It was a real shock to discover as an adult that they were real (well, really fictional characters).

The Thirteen Clocks by James Thurber. That is all.

Eh, it was only a simulated TARDIS - maybe the Monks didn't realize that translation was one of its features.

"It even does lip synch!" I love it when the show points something out in the mythology that has been there all along, but we (at least I) hadn't noticed. Yes, of *course* the TARDIS also does lip synch!

Were the crows saying "Master" at one point?

It looked like they took both hands to me… no?
