I remember watching a few episodes years ago and then deciding I kind of hated it. So I know a little bit about it, but not enough that this rings my bell.
I agree. Cool story Doc. I'm always fascinated by celebrity encounters.
Cloud of Krill is my favorite Conan the Barbarian book.
But WHO will play Jim Belushi?!? I mean, the only person who could possibly replicate that sort of bland, no-talent arrogance is Jim Belushi!
"Dr. Porn's office. What can we do to ya today?"
"Folksy humor and speeches: that's pretty much my whole thing."
Well, that's an excellent tradition, CN. One I'm going to attempt to adopt myself. But I think I know what you mean. I'm a pretty inquisitive person who loves learning new things, but I feel like there's just so much that I've not been exposed to or that I want to learn more about.
Wait, something involving George RR Martin is delayed in some way?
Right. When we would get the Free HBO weekends every few months I'd record whatever stuff I could but it never, ever enticed me to resubscribe to HBO. Those two or three recently released movies can be gotten through Netflix, and the rest just seems to be about 15 older movies and shows that get rerun ad nauseum.
Our internet is through our (terrible) phone company, and though I like sports it still wasn't worth it to me to pay about $60 a month for a bare-bones package.
Yes, all those things. Plus, if you're making an attempt at writing original music then you have those who "put in some sort of effort" and those who "shit on everything that's presented by those who write". Man, that's just infuriating.
It would be like living in the same place as all the car salesmen from the region.
I've been in a number of bands in my time and the main things I've learned are that most bands seem to end badly, and being in a band is really emotionally difficult sometimes. For whatever reason resentments and bitterness build up over the years until they explode.
He also has that "I sold my drums for $55,000 on ebay" tattoo on his back! Man, that guy needs to make better decisions.
I've had both dish providers and Comcast in the last 10 years. Comcast was, by far, the worst as far as price, selection, technology and customer service. I don't care what the price, I would never go back to them.
Rush Limbaugh tells it like it is!
I had to do that too. I reconnected with a bunch of HS acquaintances on fb a few years ago and within a couple of months I had to block a number of them because of their hardcore Tea Party nonsense that was just CONSTANT.
AND they're less compelled by conscience or ethics.
Well, no one else in the region cares what the Massholes think.
