I thought that it was weird for how much screen time Steve Trevor got, that he still wasn't developed enough or interesting enough as a character for me to care that much about his death (beyond not getting to see Chris Pine in any more movies, because DAMN he is cute).
Yeah, I think that's what everybody came to this comments section to say.
I like this idea of her.
The show does have a few "yay girls in STEM" characters - Alex, Lena, and Kara's adoptive mom whose name I don't remember.
I love where we decide to draw the lines in suspension of disbelief- like, alien attack, cool, but no way is lead exposure ok for humans in this universe.
Lena invented her own alien DNA detector, wouldn't she have noticed if it flagged her as an alien?
I agree, not too guilty. But any way you slice it, it's still a teen drama. A high quality, well-shot (I won't agree on well-plotted, there are definitely some holes) show, but still, it's a CW show at heart. I expect it to get a lot soapier soon.
When watching it, I considered both of these situations and after rewatching the scene a few times, I still feel like it could be either. If @Dictatortot:disqus 's idea proves true, an interesting character arc could still be Jughead's conflict over finding acceptance with the Southsiders in a way he didn't in…
Idk, I kind of feel like her character shares a lot of traits with one Kara Zor-El.
So I just caught up with this show and joined the AVC comments, but I'm going back through when this lands on Netflix and reading all of these.
I was also thinking about that scene, because she said something along the lines of "I'll do anything to protect the ones I love," and I don't think we ever got an explanation for that.
"That's why the other parents decide he had to go."
I feel this way about all tv.
My money's on Betty's brother ending up as Jughead's foster brother… "they've worked with us before."
I feel like there's some kind of compromise here… like a looser ponytail.
Veronica's attitude towards her dad flip flops like every other episode. It's annoyingly inconsistent.
This show is my favorite guilty pleasure.
If they go with the creeper Pastor route, we're gonna see Philip snap another neck.
It's like Soviet Russia doesn't even watch procedural cop shows.
