Passion got an 'R' rating here. Sadly, that didn't stop parents from taking there kids to see it. A friend of mine worked at a video store when it came out and used to get regularly bitched out by parents after he warned them (politely) that it's far from kid friendly.

I read that, too. There's a scene in 40 Days and 40 Nights where the main character floats of a an ocean of CGI breasts. Now I want to see that whole movie remade by Darren Aronofsky.

I've always been particularly fond of Wheels.
"They sparkled like topaz, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went. Their rims were

Sorry. No laughter.

Then, another minute for how cool the guest hosts were.

But then we would miss all the news about the Latin American remake.

I feel confident that I'm the only one annoyed by this, but it's really getting under my skin that I can't Ctrl+Left Click links (on Firefox) to get them to open in a new tab. I keep doing it out of habit and it means I have to go back and reload the page, and then click new comments and wait for load to get back to

Ah, the good old days of the Colgate Comedy Hour (brought to you by Winston's cigarettes).

I think that's sarcastic, but it is fairly logical. Disney is interested in protecting/promoting this brand, so they'll give Gaga a platform to promote herself. And there's a rather long list noteworthy artists who have already appeared alongside the Muppets, so it's not like you can't be taken seriously after

Up votes will be a pleasant electrical stimulation to the poster's genitals.

I think she gets (or at least used to get) a fair number of pre-teen/teen listeners. And the Muppets have always attracted a wide age range (especially reboot Muppets are going to get kids, adults that like the Muppets appealed to and adults with nostalgia).

C'est non merde?

Will you settle for 'The Street Car Named Desire: The Musical'?

To be fair, the article is poorly written and at no point mentions what the context for that quote was, nor does it explain any context at all. The best I could do was to assume that they were talking about somebody playing Michelle Obama (at the end of the article) and then moved on to whatever the context was for

I downvoted you out of agreement.

…and staying on the air in a timeslot that is widely considered the absolute worst. A timeslot where SNL has been one of the few shows that ever thrived there.

Lorne just hasn't bothered… could apply to most statements about SNL in recent years.

The first three years of MAD TV are criminally underated.

"I have a feeling most men are this way - we find stuff we can relate to
funnier. I don't know if women are the same, or if they can better
relate to something outside their comfort-zone."
I think that you may be sort of right here. I think the plurality of people will choose entertainment that is the least different

Out of curiosity, where did that number come from? Mostly curious how many total SNL members there have been,
